Latino Festival @ Coronet

Despite London Pleasure Gardens going into administration and cancelling all its events including Carnaval del Pueblo,   we have worked very hard to find a new venue in which to do a Latino Festival.

We will deliver an outstanding programme with top of the range artists

Fulanito - 7:15 – 8:00pm
A Dominican Republic singer who is known for his innovative mixing of traditional merengue with other styles such as reggaeton. His hits include ‘Guayando’, ‘La Novela’ and ‘El Cepillo’. With over 2 million albums sold, and a  Grammy Nomination, Fulanito hits London to play  an explosive  show at Carnaval del Pueblo
Tato Marenco & Via 40 - 6:20 – 7:00pm
A Colombian singer/song writer and  percussionist, with his own musical style inspired by the Caribbean coast of Colombia,  he has worked with Joe Arroyo and Toto la Momposina.
Fuerza Vallenata - 4:40 – 5:20pm
This group fuse the Vallenato and Cumbia musical styles, bringing the best and most popular dance music of the Atlantic coast of Colombia
Oi Brasil - 5:40 – 6:00pm
Europe's finest Brazilian entertainment group. Their dance and music has been performed on stages worldwide with many TV appearances. They have been privileged to perform for The Prince of Wales and other celebrities.
Mestizo Folklore Group - 1:30 – 1:50pm
A visual explosion of music and colour, filled with incredible power and energy that represents the most famous Mexican Folklore. Their performance is a display of exciting and colourful costumes and dances.
Ayra-Valentina - 3:50 – 4:05pm
At 15 Ayra has performed at both Daddy Yankee and  Don Omar concerts in London, She will perform her new single 'Caderita' - a blend of Cumbia and reggaeton written by Alex Wilson.
Shakirita - 4:10 – 4:25pm
A nine year old who has performed in Les Miserables and CBBC's Basil and Barney Swop Show. She has also appeared alongside Alfie Boe at the Royal Festival Hall and in his new DVD Alfie Live, Bring Him Home Tour. Look out for her Latino side at Carnaval del Pueblo.
Valenciz - 2:00 – 2:15pm
A Latin urban musician who has opened concerts for giants in the industry such as Pit Bull at the O2, Don Omar, Jowell & Randy and J Alvarez. His show promises to be energetic and full of reggaeton and house rhythms
Tungurahua - 2:30 – 2:50pm
The magic of this group will make you live the vibrancy of the Ecuadorian rhythmn. This performances will showcase the history and rituals of their dance. The vibrant colours of their costumes help illustrate the richness of their culture.
Cumbé - 3:05 – 3:35pm
A collective of talented musicians and dancers, showcasing the vibrant music of Colombian folklore, with original Colombian and African instruments.

**Free Latin dance classes (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and more) + DJs all day with UNITY DANCE PROJECT**

Andean area - 2pm - 8pm

A whole day of activities showcasing the world renowned Oruro Carnival + Ambato Festival and its spectacular dance and costumes.
